Jennifer's Catching Slough Classic

This annual event is a 10 mile run/walk, a 5 km run/walk and a 1 mile kids run. All benefits go towards the Jennifer Turman Memorial Scholarship Fund. Plaques and ribbons will be awarded.

Fireworks Over The Bay

The Coos Bay Fire Department hosts the annual 4th of July fireworks celebration from the downtown boardwalk. The fireworks begins at dusk, which is generally around 9:30pm.

Bay Area Fun Festival

The Bay Area Fun Festival features craft vendors, live music a parade and a handmade quilt show. Festival attendance is free, although some events do require an individual fee.
